Meet the man behind it all. Farmer Adam
Farmer Adam is the dairyman behind Sunny Pastures — the one you will usually find in the barn, with the cows, keeping the daily rhythm of the farm moving. But to Adam, this is more than a business. It is stewardship. These are not our cows. They are your cows. And most of all, we believe they are God’s cows.
The land, the milk, the herd, the work, and the families we serve have all been entrusted to us for a time. Our job is to care for them faithfully.

From our family farm to your family’s table.
We are Adam and Anne Lyons, the family behind Sunny Pastures. Our days are full of cows, milking, bottling, homeschooling, toddlers, chores, and the steady work of keeping a small dairy going.
Sunny Pastures exists because families want a closer connection to their food. They want to know the farm, know the cows, and feel confident about where their milk comes from.
After years of homesteading, we are now a real working farm, and we are thankful for every family who chooses to support local dairy.
Simple, honest, and connected to the farm.
Our goal is to keep the herdshare personal and easy to understand while caring well for the cows and serving families with real farm food.
Known Cows
Our milk comes from real Jersey cows cared for through the daily rhythm of farm life.
Real Food
We believe families should be able to know where their food comes from and feel connected to the farm behind it.
Weekly Rhythm
Members pick up through weekly route locations and enjoy fresh dairy as part of a simple farm routine.
There is a lot behind each bottle.
Every bottle of milk represents early mornings, evening milkings, weather, feed, chores, bottles, coolers, routes, and the everyday work of a family farm.
Join the Sunny Pastures herdshare.
If you want fresh raw A2/A2 milk from a local Kentucky family farm, we would love to help you get started.
Tell us where you are located, how much milk you are interested in each week, and which pickup area may work best for your family.
Sunny Pastures is a working family farm. Product availability, route timing, and pickup details may vary with the season, the cows, and the rhythm of farm life.
