As a homeschool family, we for sure understand the importance of community and social interaction for homeschooled children. Join us for monthly activities, field trips and family adventures where homeschool children can make friends and parents can build community.

All Abilities Welcome

Every child deserves a place to belong.

Children of different ages, abilities, personalities and learning styles are welcome, including children with ADHD, autism, disabilities or learning differences. This homeschool group is a place to feel supported.

Some children jump right into a group. Others need more time, movement, patience or a quieter way to participate. There is room for both. Bullying is not tolerated.

Homeschool meetup FAQ

Is this only for Sunny Pastures customers?

No. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to purchase milk or products from Sunny Pastures to join the homeschool meetup.

Is this a Christian homeschool meetup?

Yes. This is an openly Christian community, and some gatherings may include prayer, Scripture, Christian songs or faith-centered activities. Families do not need to belong to a particular church or denomination.

Are all abilities welcome?

Yes. Children of different abilities, personalities and learning styles are welcome. Families may contact us before an event with questions about accessibility or participation.

Is there a membership fee?

There is currently no monthly membership fee. Many meetups will be free. Some field trips or special activities may have a ticket, admission or supply cost.

Is an RSVP required?

Yes. Families should RSVP before attending so we can plan space, supplies and event communication.

Do parents attend with their children?

Yes. Children attend each meetup with a parent or guardian.

What ages may attend?

Many events will welcome children of all ages. If an activity is designed for a specific age range, that will be listed in the event description.

Where will meetups be held?

Locations will rotate depending on the activity. Most meetups will be in Central Kentucky, with occasional events near Lexington, Louisville, Florence or Northern Kentucky.

Does joining the information list reserve our spot?

No. The information list keeps you updated. Families must complete the individual RSVP for any meetup they plan to attend.
