Because Sunny Pastures milk is non-homogenized, the cream naturally rises while the bottle rests. This old-fashioned cream-line milk can be shaken before pouring—or skimmed for coffee, baking, or an especially glorious bowl of cereal. We support both approaches.
Our milk begins with real Jersey cows on a real Kentucky farm. Adam cares for and milks the herd. Our family bottles the dairy and organizes orders. Stephen handles most regular deliveries, with Adam helping on routes when needed.
It takes a whole farm team to move milk from the cow to families across Kentucky every week.

Do you offer a dependable local milk route?
Yes. We serve established community dairy pickup locations throughout Lexington, Louisville, Danville, Frankfort, Georgetown, Nicholasville and Northern Kentucky. Availability varies by route.
Do I have to drive all the way to Gravel Switch?
No. Most members receive their orders through one of our weekly community pickup routes.
What is that glorious layer floating at the top?
The milk is not homogenized, so the cream naturally rises. Shake the bottle before pouring if you prefer it mixed throughout.
